EdZola
Platforms

Our own products on top. Proven platforms underneath.

Two kinds of platform sit behind EdZola’s work. Our products add AI that does real work on the systems you run. The platforms underneath are chosen for the problem, and the data is always yours.

EdZola products

AI that does a whole job, with a person still in charge.

Each product came out of repeated consulting work: the same follow-ups, interviews, audits and receipts, done by hand in organisation after organisation. Each one keeps people on the decisions that matter.

Platforms we build on

The smallest stack your team can support.

We don’t resell software. We pick the platform that fits how your programme runs, who will maintain it and what it will cost to run in year three.

Zoho Advanced Partner

Zoho

Much of our systems work runs on Zoho. It gives nonprofits tailored forms, linked records, role-based access and automation without maintaining a custom codebase, at a cost that still makes sense in year three. When a workflow outgrows configuration, we build on Zoho Catalyst so it still sits alongside your Zoho data.

  • Creator · MIS and case work
  • CRM and Bigin · donors
  • Books · accounting
  • People · HR
  • Projects · delivery
  • Catalyst · custom apps and functions
Choose it when
The workflow is specific to your programme, your team needs to own and adjust it, and Indian compliance such as 80G, FCRA and CSR fields matters.
Look elsewhere when
The data model would have to bend to fit the platform, or the app is public-facing at a scale the licence model doesn’t suit.

Claude

Claude partner

We use Claude in our own work every day, and build it into partners’ systems: hands-on training for leadership teams, AI agents that work on your own data, and CRMs that can be asked questions instead of only updated.

  • Leadership coaching
  • Agents on your data
  • Connected Zoho CRM
  • Skills for repeat work
Choose it when
Your team writes, analyses and reports every week, and you want AI working inside those tasks with a named person reviewing what it produces.
Look elsewhere when
There is no one to review the output, or the process itself is unclear. Fix the workflow first; AI makes a broken process faster, not better.

Frappe & open source

Own it and host it

Some organisations need to own the code and decide where their data lives. For them we build on the Frappe framework, ERPNext and other open-source stacks, with no per-user licence and nothing locked to a vendor.

  • Frappe framework
  • ERPNext · finance and inventory
  • Self-hosted deployments
  • Open data models
Choose it when
Large teams make per-user licences expensive, data must stay on your own servers, or a funder expects open infrastructure.
Look elsewhere when
No one will own hosting, updates and backups. Open source moves that responsibility to you, and we’ll plan for it before we build.
How to compare build options →

Custom code

When it earns its place

Sometimes no platform fits the programme without bending it. Then we build custom applications, kept as small as possible and documented so another team could maintain them.

  • Public-facing portals
  • Offline-first field apps
  • Integrations between tools
  • Data pipelines
Choose it when
The workflow is genuinely unusual, or volume and access needs outgrow what a configured platform can carry.
Look elsewhere when
A configured platform would do 90% of the job. Custom code is a long-term maintenance commitment, and we’ll say so.
Custom versus off-the-shelf →
How we choose

Four questions before any platform.

We ask these in the Scope stage of ImpactOS, before an estimate. If a spreadsheet answers them well enough, we’ll tell you.

  1. 01Does the workflow fit, or would it bend?

We map the real journey first, then see which platform carries it without workarounds.

  2. 02Who will maintain it after we leave?

A system your team can’t adjust becomes a system your team stops using.

  3. 03Where does the data need to live?

Consent, DPDP obligations and funder rules decide this before convenience does.

  4. 04What will it cost to run in year three?

Licences, support and changes, not just the build. We show the number up front.
